Editorial policy
The rules we hold ourselves to.
Independence
Brands cannot buy a good review, approve copy or see a review before it is published. Where a brand lends or gifts us a product, we say so on the page and judge it the same way as anything we paid for.
Free review units
Gifted or loaned units are always disclosed at the top of the article. We do not promise coverage in exchange for a unit, and we say so when we decline.
Affiliate links
Some product links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission when you buy. Rankings and recommendations are not influenced by commission rates; see the affiliate disclosure.
Safety and health
We cover 3D printing as a hobby and craft. We do not give medical, legal or electrical-safety advice, and where a topic touches safety (ventilation, hot surfaces, mains equipment) we point to the manufacturer's guidance.
Accuracy and updates
Prices, specs and firmware change. Guides show a published date and, when revised, an updated date. We correct errors promptly and note what changed.
Images
We use real images first. Each one is either taken by us, used under an open licence with credit where required, or an official product image published by the maker of the product being discussed. We never use stock or agency photos, or pictures taken from other sites. Where no real image fits, we may use a concept illustration generated with AI, always labelled as such and never presented as a real product. Every image has a source record, and the full list is on the image credits page. If you own an image and want it removed, contact us and we will take it down promptly.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help research and draft articles from manufacturer documentation and cited sources, and every article lists its sources. Sepehr Sabbagh-pour is the editor, reviews every article before it goes live, and is responsible for what is published here. We never use AI to invent test results, quotes or experience, and we correct errors when readers or we find them.
