Bambu Lab product pageShort verdict
Both are enclosed CoreXY printers with a 256 x 256 x 256 mm (16.8 L) bed, a 300 °C nozzle and 20,000 mm/s² acceleration. The P2S lists a 600 mm/s maximum speed against 500, a 110 °C bed against 100, and a 5-inch touchscreen against the P1S's 2.7-inch screen.
The P2S also lists support for up to 20 colours with the AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT, against up to 16 colours on the P1S. The P2S is heavier at 15 kg against 12.95 kg. Remember that maximum speed is a headline figure, not a real print time. The spec gaps are real but modest, so the choice comes down to whether the bigger screen, hotter bed and extra colour capacity are worth the difference in price for you.
