Not tested by us. Nozzle Notes has not printed on the Creality K2 Plus. The figures below come from Creality's own blog post and US store page, checked on 2026-10-10. Performance numbers are Creality's claims.

What Creality announced

Creality's blog announcement of the K2 Plus x CFS Combo pre-sale is dated June 5, 2024. It calls the K2 Plus the latest addition to the company's K Series and highlights a 350 mm cubed build volume, active chamber heating, a next-generation extruder and the Creality Filament System (CFS) for multi-filament printing. The pre-sale ran in phases, with discounts of 50 percent down to 20 percent, and the post sets a regular price of USD 1,499 after July 20, 2024.

Price

The US store page for the K2 Plus Combo, checked on 2026-10-10, showed $1,199.00 against a struck-through $1,499.00, and the page data marked it out of stock. We did not check other regions. Prices and stock move often, so use the live listing.

Creality's current site navigation also lists a K3, K2 Pro and K2 SE, so a newer model may suit you better.

What is new

  • Large enclosed volume. 350 mm in each direction is large for a consumer enclosed printer. See build volume explained for what that means in practice.
  • Heated chamber. Active heating to 60 C is aimed at engineering filaments.
  • CFS multi-color. RFID-based filament identification and automatic loading; read multicolor 3D printing explained for the trade-offs of this approach.
  • AI cameras. One for monitoring and one for calibration.

We have not verified how it compares numerically with earlier K Series printers, so we make no claim about that.

Who it suits (opinion from the specs)

This is our reading of the specs, not experience with the machine.

  • Likely to suit: makers who print large single parts, props or batches, and who want multi-color and engineering materials in one enclosed machine.
  • Probably too much: beginners with small projects. A 33.5 kg printer with a 1200W rating asks for desk space and a bigger power budget. Start with the first printer checklist.
  • Running cost: Creality rates the printer at 1200W; see 3D printer running costs for how to work out what that costs.

What we would test

  • Bed and chamber temperature uniformity across the full 350 mm plate.
  • Real print times versus the 600 mm/s claim on a large model.
  • CFS reliability across many color changes, and how much filament is purged.
  • Noise, and power draw measured at the wall.
  • How easy the setup and calibration are for someone new to large printers.
